10 Reasons To Do Your Christmas Shopping Online

Filed under: Busy Summer — @ 5:37 pm

1. Unique gifts: You can find the coolest and most unusual gifts online, so no risk of the receiver getting the same gift twice.

2. Find exactly what you want: It’s all there and Google makes it easy to find. Just know some of the key words for what you’re after, a brand name or product description will suffice.

3. Crowds: not having to fight overzealous crowds is the very best part of shopping online. Plus, you can cook dinner while sitting at your computer or be tying up all the loss ends at the office before taking off on holidays.

4. Sleep in: Online shopping allows you to sleep in and leisurely stroll to your computer at a reasonable hour. Heck, you can even shop at midnight, after the kids are in bed and you have some private time.

5. Keep it secret: Have your gift-wrapped purchases delivered close to Christmas and you don’t have to worry about hiding them from inquisitive friends and family.

6. No germs: How many people ignore a cold and still go shopping, spreading flu germs everywhere they go? There’s no chance of catching the flu whilst sitting in front of your computer.

7. No pushy Sales Assistants: Sure many of the sales assistants have a reason to be pushy and irritated. Shoppers can be nasty, aggressive and cheap. With online shopping there are no sales assistants and, thus, no one to hassle you.

8. Dress code: You can shop online in your pajamas or sweat pants. Need I say more? And that coffee your drinking is homemade not an overpriced Starbucks that you waited half an hour in line to buy.

9. Better deals: If you’ve been savvy over the last 12 months you’ll know exactly where you need to go to get all your Christmas gifts. You can easily compare prices and find great deals online without the chance of being trampled.

10. Shipping: Have your gifts shipped directly to your home or to the recipient; whichever works best for you. If you like, online stores will even gift-wrap presents and slip in a personalized card. You’ll reduce your holiday stress and avoid the lines at the post office. Many online stores offer free shipping.

Find the Perfect Bikini

Filed under: Busy Summer — @ 6:08 pm

Ah, summer. It brings to mind lazy days in the sun, the beach, fresh tropical fruits and of course that terrifying necessity of the season, the bikini.

It might not be as daunting as you first imagine, simple follow Busy Summer’s guide to finding that elusive perfect swimsuit that will enhance your figure and leave you feeling confident.

Step 1,When you’re selecting a bikini, be absolutely certain that the bottoms fit. You’d think such a thing is obvious, but on your next beach outing, observe the love-handle spillage and the sagging bums, they’re more common than you’d imagine. Whatever shape, embrace your body type! This may mean buying separates; very few people are truly the same size on the top as they are on the bottom.

Step 2, Now, for the tops. There are hundreds of shapes and ways to keep the chest in check. If you’re lacking in the region, try a top which enhances your smaller bust. You lucky girls can get away with most styles. We recommend you try one with a pattern. Bold prints and texture give the illusion of a larger bust line, so flaunt it.

Step 3, Perhaps you have the opposite issue? An ample chest just loves a halter. With a sleek, wide-strapped halter top, you can hoist and lift. It’s also wildly liberating not having to worry about the “girls” falling out every time you dive in the water.

Step 4, Summer means pulling out the pegs.  For ladies with legs that resemble that of a corgi low-cut boy shorts will simply never work for you, always look for a higher-cut leg, a tie side bikini bottom is ideal.

Step 5, If you didn’t make it to the gym as much as you would have liked leading up to the bikini season, you’re in luck, as this year’s hot trend in the monokini. This design can provide a bit more coverage and conceal a six pack still in construction.

Step 6, although it’s a little cliché, it’s true that you must really love your little bikini and feel comfortable in it. If it makes you happy, it will lessen the horror of throwing your near-naked body around for the world to see.

What Not To Do In A Bikini

At Busy Summer we’re all for bikini-clad activities, frolicking in the surf, a game of volley ball in the pool, but there are some things that one should never do - especially in a bikini.

Two bikini-clad girls have been photographed swigging champagne on top of a croc trap in a crocodile-infested river.

The girls were photographed singing in the rain, using champagne bottles as microphones, while atop of the trap in Maningrida, Northern Territory, reports the Northern Territory News.

Their male friends were also pictured laughing and joking while posing as cowboys riding on the trap.

Park ranger and crocodile expert Garry Lindner said the behaviour was absurd.

“Crocs are attracted to the bait in the traps, so it is extremely dangerous to fool around like this,” he said.
