Ah, summer. It brings to mind lazy days in the sun, the beach, fresh tropical fruits and of course that terrifying necessity of the season, the bikini.

Step 5, If you didn’t make it to the gym as much as you would have liked leading up to the bikini season, you’re in luck, as this year’s hot trend in the monokini. This design can provide a bit more coverage and conceal a six pack still in construction.

Step 6, although it’s a little cliché, it’s true that you must really love your little bikini and feel comfortable in it. If it makes you happy, it will lessen the horror of throwing your near-naked body around for the world to see.

Hot pick for the season

At Busy Summer we’re all for bikini-clad activities, frolicking in the surf, a game of volley ball in the pool, but there are some things that one should never do - especially in a bikini.

Two bikini-clad girls have been photographed swigging champagne on top of a croc trap in a crocodile-infested river.

The girls were photographed singing in the rain, using champagne bottles as microphones, while atop of the trap in Maningrida, Northern Territory, reports the Northern Territory News.

Their male friends were also pictured laughing and joking while posing as cowboys riding on the trap.

Park ranger and crocodile expert Garry Lindner said the behaviour was absurd.

“Crocs are attracted to the bait in the traps, so it is extremely dangerous to fool around like this,” he said.

What not to do in a bikini, or at all really!

Lara Bingle and Erin McNaught were spotted sunning themselves on the beautiful Bondi beach during the recent wave of hot days.

Miss Hollywood USA, Amanda Holzen was spotted in the Bahama’s in a Busy Summer Barbados bikini. Holzen was there competing for the title of Miss Swimsuit USA.

The very gorgeous Gold Coast surfer turned model Kelly Fraser posed in a range of Busy Summer Swimsuits in a recent photoshoot with Summer Fisher Photography.

Fraser, 18 will be heading to Singapore on a three-month contract with top agency Avenue, which also represent Miss Universe Australia Rachael Finch in the new year and is currently in the running to win Best Dressed Gold Coaster.

This weekend the Gold Coast will welcome Sydney jewellery designer, Nic Cerrone, with his latest piece, a diamond-encrusted white bikini.  

The unveiling the swimsuit, worn by gorgeous local Hannah Saul, winner of the Next New York Model Search, will be at Facet 58 in Pacific Fair.

so, what’s the key the perfect diamond-encrusted bikini, well its all in the cut of course; bikini and diamonds that is.  

A trend is washing through the streets of Sydney as bikini clad models paraded through the heart of Martin Place , a cheeky promotion by Gold Coast Tourism to beam some Gold Coast sunshine onto a very grey Sydney morning.

Perhaps inspired by the latest Gold Coast promotion, AIME Finance are also looking to bring some sunshine to the Sydney CBD, inviting guys and girls alike to strip down to bikini’s or budgy smugglers in an attempt to break the world record for the largest swimwear parade,  currently held by Hugh Heftner’s ex-girlfriend, Holly Madison.
